Aloha!
One of the hottest categories this year at The 53 Annunal GRAMMYs Sunday on CBS: Best Hawaiian Album! Oh Yeah, and I guess [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Paul McCartney [/lastfm]and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Elton John [/lastfm]are nominated also.
I don’t know alot about Hawaiian Music, but I’m gonna go with [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Huana Ke Aloha[/lastfm] by [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Tia Carrere[/lastfm] as the Best Hawaiian Album GRAMMY winner. I’m basing that solely on the fact that she was super hot in True Lies and Wayne’s World 2.
A few other GRAMMY predictions:
Best Solo Rock VocalPerformance:
C’mon man, no brainer! [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Paul McCartney[/lastfm]-[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Helter Skelter[/lastfm]
Best R&B Preformance by a Duo or Group with Vocals:
Another no-brainer![lastfm link_type="artist_info"] Ronald Isley [/lastfm]and [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Aretha Franklin[/lastfm]-[lastfm link_type="artist_info"]You’ve got a Friend[/lastfm]. The Queen of Soul is getting a tribute on this Sundays show. Don’t be surprised to see her win this one.
Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album: This one could be a epic Battle of BIG HAIR! I love[lastfm link_type="artist_info"] Rod Stewart’s [/lastfm] Fly me to the Moon…The Great American Songbook:VolumeV. But the GRAMMY could also go to[lastfm link_type="artist_info"] Barry Manilow[/lastfm] [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]The Greatest Love Songs of All Time[/lastfm].
Best Historical Album: Hate the name of this category, but:[lastfm link_type="artist_info"] The Beatles[/lastfm] (The Original Studio Recordings). Of course, [lastfm link_type="artist_info"]Paul McCartney[/lastfm] will pick up the award for the Fab Four.
Who will win…and WHAT will they be wearing? Get the popcorn ready and I’ll see you at The GRAMMYs Sunday night at 8 on CBS!
